Day Tours Guide
I started in 2010 as a volunteer at The Foundation for Blind Children as a hiking/backpacking guide. Our two major accomplishments were hiking Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon and helping Mike Armstrong – the first blind hiker – to complete the Arizona Trail in 2011.

What type of tours do you usually guide?
I love to be outdoors – mountain biking on my single speed, whitewater rafting, canyoneering, hiking, paddleboarding, camping and 4×4 trails. Fun fact – the body wears out faster if it’s not used!
What do you love most about guiding/working in adventure travel?
Having the opportunity to work outside. I love to introduce people to new places and teach them how fragile our environment can be, as well as how powerful nature is.
