AOA is a unique company. From the moment I contacted them I was made to feel special, and it was clear that their ethos is to think of themselves as customers, to treat each customer as an individual, and to get to know their customers' particular needs. This was evident during the preparations and organizing of the trip, and especially so once we were in their care.

Our guide was one of the most extraordinary guides I have come across - and I've trekked in the Himalayas with the best of them! His dedication to creating both an awesome adventure yet without exposing us to unnecessary risk, is one of the hardest feats possible on this kind of trip. He succeeded in delivering to us the best of both worlds.

I can sum up in three words why I'll be using them in future - trust, professionalism and integrity. This isn't just a business to AOA - it's their life purpose! The adventures that AOA have created are on a monumental scale, combining as they have, the largest of mother natures' accomplishments - mountains, canyons, rivers and gorges, and on such a scale that the feeling of awe and wonder is always present. They then bring into the equation a level of personal attention to detail that reinforces their ethos of making people feel special - not pampered or overly protected, but cherished!

I will be returning with AOA and as a measure of my trust in them, my party will be entrusting to their care a disabled child. Not once did they shy away from this request - in fact they embraced it in a way that reinforced their sense of integrity - adventure isn't just for the physically able - it's for everyone.
